Commencing January 1, 2004 the provincial government's of Alberta and British Columbia instituted the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). The Act applies to all private organizations. PIPA will regulate the way private sector organizations collect, use, keep secure and disclose personal information.

For specific information about PIPA in British Columbia, visit the Government of British Columbia, Ministry of Management Services - Corporate Access and Privacy Branch web site.

Effectively, since the Alberta and British Columbia provincial government's have adopted legislation (PIPA) that is substantially similar to PIPEDA, Travel Time will apply the provincial privacy rules to your personal information. When we disclose your personal information inter-provincially and internationally, we will apply the PIPEDA rules.

If you wish to verify or correct the personal information that Travel Time Inc. has on file OR make a formal complaint about our privacy practices, you may make it in writing to our Privacy Policy Manager. She will acknowledge receipt of your complaint, ensure that it is investigated promptly and that you are provided with a formal decision and reasons in writing.
