1. Sunwing - Did an excellent job! Transfer from Varadero was well organized and smooth. The rep was a very nice fellow and we booked 4 tours with him as follows:January 2011
Hi Sheri;
TAM Air of Brazil is the best, new, most efficient, clean and safe airline we have ever traveled on. Even when the trip is only 45 minutes they still give everyone a hot sandwich and a drink and do it in a pleasant fashion. You actually feel like a client not an inconvenience.
One the first day we went from Calgary to Iguaçu (about 20 hours) then met our guide, who was terrific, then a one hour ride, then a three hour hike on the Brazilian side of the falls at +40C then a two hour ride through the Argentina border to arrive at our hotel. A test of will but we enjoyed every minute of it. As a note please let people know it is one to two hours just to get through the Argentine border crossing . I would recommend staying on the Brazil side at the English Hotel (very colonial and nice) for one night then move to the Argentina hotel the next day. But you still have to experience the falls from Argentina to get the real experience. The Hotel in Argentina was terrific with an awesome view. Beautiful place with an fantastic breakfast. The guide was great and we needed him as we could not have seen what we did without a guide. On the second day we were off at 6am to beat the crowds on his advice and he was 100% right. We also went on a fantastic boat ride under the falls. Opportunity of a lifetime. 275 falls over a 6km area is something you have to see someday.

I thought I would go through the trip in point form and also included a few pictures, mostly of Croatia.
Paris
Miranda and her friend Lindsay are living and studying in Paris for one year! Read about their adventures in this fabulous city!
Sept 13, 2010 ... Bonjour!
I safely arrived in Paris on Friday morning at 9am. It was a long (and for the most part sleepless) flight. Customs was easy – no questions. Then without fail Lindsey and my luggage arrived and our driver was waiting patiently for us to come through the door. He drove us into Paris and showed us where our school is. It doesn’t look like a school because it only has a front the size of a small store but apparently it is all in behind and has a very good reputation. He gave us a tour of the surrounding area (confused us more) and then we magically ended up at our house. We are on the third floor which to Canadians we would consider the fourth floor – this equals tons of fun trying to get our year’s worth of luggage to the top! (It is 58 stairs up) It is working out alright – very different than Canada but we will make do. (It was built in the 17th or 18th Century so there is no sneaking around the floors are creaking - AND I got locked in the bathroom for a good period of time because the doors just don’t open like the used to. Laurence Meyniel (who owns the place and lives here with her son Pierre age 15) took us to the grocery, the post office and the metro! From there we did some exploring and checked out the Eiffel Tower and surrounding area.

Hi Lana.....
We had a WONDERFUL trip. The flight from Edmonton to Toronto to Amsterdam was excellent (both ways).
Globus tour director (Paul) met us at the airport and from then on, the holiday began to shape into a terrific experience. Each day had some something special to it. Globus offered 11 additional tours extending our experience. Glenn and I took five of those extended tours and were impressed with all of them. Of course, the reason for this particular trip, the Passion Play, was breathtaking ... a once in a lifetime experience. We had seats in the second row from the front and right in the middle.
The breakfasts were great, some had greater selection than others, but more than what we have experienced in North America. Rooms were excellent, some a bit small, but always neat, tidy, close to the activities, most were air conditioned well, and service was great. The dinners included in the package were tremendous. We had one salmon supper that was heavenly. I thought I should express how pleased Glenn and I had been with the supper the night before. So I went up to the lady at the front desk as I figured she spoke English.
So I asked her if she did. She said yes. So not thinking, I told her that last night's supper was to "die" for. Her eyes grew wide, her expression got scared. So I thought to myself, what did I say? Then I figured out, that she probably didn't get what I said. So I explained that last night's supper was excellent. That my husband and I really enjoyed it. So then she relaxed, laughed, and said she had never heard that expression before and she was going to share it with her co-workers.
The scenery was awesome and the activities well planned and worth while. I could go on and on, but I think you have gathered that Glenn and I were treated royally. Thank you, Lana, for doing the legwork for the flights and Globus tour.
We had a great time.

Beth: Many thanks to you and Terri Jo for arranging such a wonderful trip for us! It was amazing!! My daughters just loved it.
Copenhagen is such a clean friendly city, where everything is so accessible in the downtown core. Shopping there is great too. The girls did a boat tour that they really enjoyed and saw the Little Mermaid, etc.

Hi Lorilee,
We arrived home safe & sound @ 0300 this AM. It was a wonderful holiday! The Grand Palladium White Sand was perfect!! The entire resort was great, but it was nice having access to "all" the facilities & dining areas (a perk for staying at the White Sand)!
The bus ride that we were concerned about was a lot of fun!!! Juan (guide) & Carlos (driver) were hilarious!! Of course they had "cool ones" for a reasonable fee & we all arrived with a giggle on! Ha!
